February 14, 2006 at 12:59 pm #569 tcolvinMIKeymaster I also saw one on there last night where a guy completely sealed up his system, and instead of it being water cooled, the entire case was filled with oil! Apparently, it keeps the system pretty cool. Although, it would be a pain and messy upgrade if you ever wanted to change anything, or would need to replace anything. April 3, 2006 at 8:44 pm #570 GwegKeymaster Yeah, I just now got to looking at that. Those are sweet systems. Giving me some ideas that maybe someday down the road, I should build a custom system like that, maybe go with a gaming fridge setup. That way, all the components would stay cool, and I could keep some caffinated drinks in there for those long sessions of gaming. April 4, 2006 at 2:49 pm #571 tcolvinMIKeymaster Better use a full sized refrigerator, so your friends dont have to go far for drinkage either 😀 April 4, 2006 at 7:42 pm #572 GwegKeymaster Ha, that would be great, full stockage of drinks, but man, would that sucker be a pain to tote to LAN parties. Funny as hell tho. Thatd be great. March 26, 2018 at 10:40 pm #223 tcolvinMIKeymaster If you're into modding, which if I had the money, would be one of my new favorite hobbies, then you should check this article out. Someone gutted a toaster and used it for a file server. How sweet is that? http://www.tomshardware.com/20…..id_on_rye/ Author Posts Viewing 7 posts - 1 through 7 (of 7 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
