Oh, something else. Get this, I gave myself some distance from this guy, and I barely made a light. To keep up with me, he blatantly ran a red light. I just kinda wish I knew what I did to that guy. Guess there's just some crazies out there.
Okay, so I go out to my car today to run some errands — it's parked up and around the block (the street I live on is still being worked on). As soon as I get there, I noticed this white 'substance' all over my car. As far as I could tell, it looked as if someone had poured milk all over the roof and hood of my Buick. They must have done it sometime last night, cuz it was not like that before I left for Zanesville last night.
Yesterday was just a bad day, and this car does not deserve that crap that it has been getting lately.
So, with all the wonderful, super happy events (it's sarcastic) that have happened in 2008, not just with the country, but in my life (add another computer issue today), Bad Luck and I are becoming very best friends.
I'm gonna be driving the Bonneville as soon as the rain quits, hopefully it won't see the same crap next week as the LeSabre saw this week.
I am freaking ticked off today. When I was coming back this afternoon from class, I was coming up the hill from Georgetown Road, past Nikolazakus' (sp?) place (Tim you might remember where this is at), when this city truck was flying down the hill, halfway on my side. As he flies past me, I hear a couple big rocks hit my Buick; one on the hood, and the other on the windshield. I checked it out, and couldn't find anything.
As soon as I got home, I see this crack running along the bottom middle of my windshield. That has got me insanely mad. I've had that car for 8 years, and never had anything hit that windshield. Sure, I was going to replace it sometime down the road, but that was when I had money and time. I just don't need this.
Also, later this afternoon, I went down to the 3rd street car wash to take off some of the dust and bird droppings off my car (it was pretty bad). As I was heading uptown afterwards, this jerk in a Ford Escort ZX3 gets RIGHT on my bumper at the light. It turns green, and I go, and he's right there. Suddenly a truck stops quickly in front of me to make a turn (didn't use his signal of course), and I slam on my brakes. He almost hits me, and then decides to give ME the finger. Well, I continued going up the hill to Highland, and this whole way he just stays on my bumper (slow people in front of me won't go the speed limit, which is 35 mph), and we finally get onto US-22. I freaking floor it, to get some distance. Then, I do something most would think is crazy, but I didn't care at this point.
I pull off the road into a parking lot, let him pass me, then I floor it and get right on HIS bumper. I ride his bumper all the way out US-22 until we hit the entrance to I-77. He decides to go north, and I keep going up US-22 and eventually making my way home, trying to cool down.
I probably didn't need to do that, but it was left over rage from the windshield incident. And sorry to those that I have no idea what I'm talking about in terms of roads, but some here will understand.
Ok, I'm done, had to get that off my chest.
