Ok, this was the piece I really wanted to get working, because of the awesomeness behind it. You can now add content. I believe that we can now start constructing the CMS in such a way where we can re-use a bunch of the code Ive currently written.
By the way, in the body of the text, you can format, cut/paste, and do all sorts of cool things. I'll have to come back to this eventually, because I dont believe you can add URL's yet. Plus, I havent figured out the “client” portion to show the updates on client pages, as well as populating the source dropdown. You'll notice its not currently there yet.
I think my next step is either going to be user login or the layout of the CMS, so we can actually say we have a CMS.
Anyway, have fun playing with the new toy. It works very much like the site submission.
You can access both site submission and content submission by going to http://midev.mightorindustries…..rcms/demo/.
Greg, if you're still considering adding to your website this weekend, let me know, and I'll adapt this so you can actually use it.
Edit: I also changed the name of the folder where the CMS was being stored from 'Test' to 'demo', since it seemed to make more sense. Also, I created a small index.html file that takes you to the admin panel, and added our hellasweet new MI Development Logo. This is the structure we're going to start using, where you go to the frontpage, then click into the admin, but are still able to get to the admin by using the /admin after the site.
