we're not talking about a new kind of bug killer. We're talking securing data in your server or
workstation by splitting the data up onto multiple drives in case of drive failure. I dont know how familiar
everyone is with RAID, but if you have a server or workstation that has mission critical data on it, RAID is
definitely the way to go. Since hard drive space is much cheaper than it used to be, RAID is a pretty
affordable solution. A RAID configuration requires multiple disk drives, but the pluses outweigh the minuses
in my opinion. There's a handy and interesting article on Tom's Hardware that explains what RAID is,
the different kinds of RAID, and a new one to me, RAID 6, which allows for the failure of 2 drives in an array
without data failure. This is incredibly sweet, since its incredibly rare that two drives fail at once, let
alone any more than that. However, until they come up with a way that will secure data, I'll keep taking
