One of the unfortunate truths I have come to understand in my many projects with Linux is that there is no way to completely avoid the command line. While some users (especially more experienced users who remember the DOS/Unix days) prefer the CLI, some do not. The one nice thing Ive always found with a command line interface is that you tend to better understand the underlying system the more you use it.
As I dive more into Ubuntu, I have found myself resurrecting my knowledge of the Linux CLI. After doing some reading at lunchtime today, I found a cool site that goes a bit in-depth on how to use the CLI in Linux, as well as some explanations of the file system, along with a plethora of other information.
