This seems like a really great article.  Next time my Windows goes bad, I'm gonna have to try

this, wish I knew this about 2 weeks ago.  Not only would this have saved me the hassle of having to reinstall

Windows onto this PC, but I would still have my second hard drive available to me, WITH all the data that was on it,

and not formatted because Windows can't tell the difference between an 80GB SATA drive and an 80GB EIDE drive

(long story, won't get into it here).

Wow thats amazing, I'll be doing that next time windows starts freaking out,

which is probably soon.  The windows install on here is the same one from last summer when I got this computer,

I'm pretty happy that it's held up all this time.

I think the longest Ive gotten from an install is about a year or two, before I had to reload.  I

usually go every six to 8 months.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this.

I found a very interesting article on Digg earlier and I thought I'd share.  Now I dont know if

this actually works, but I'd be interested to see exactly how this would play out.  If it would work,

reloading wouldnt take near as long.
