Wow, that really blows. So far, I've never actually got anything that had
a rebate at Best Buy, but I could see how something like that is nice to have. Yeah, if they get rid of the
rebates, they should lower their prices, cuz I know they usually have higher prices from the start. I think
the cheapest thing I ever got there was Unreal Tournament 2003 for $20.
GwegKeymasterHa, hilarious post Tim. But yeah, it would be amazing if M$ could actually get
one of their OS's to actually run for a decent amount of time. I'm already starting to get weird
errors and crashes for absolutely no reasons at all. But I don't have time to format and reinstall here,
so I'm gonna have to duke it out til summer. But, no matter what Microsoft wants, I'll be using XP
for awhile (my workstation and dual 933 are stilll using 2000 even), cuz I never trust the new operating systems
when they first come out. Way too many bugs at that point.
GwegKeymasterYeah, I like the idea of us maybe being able to host Smakk Studios here, cuz it'd be a nice way to keep
things together. Yeah, I agree with Danny, that the Attic needs to stay seperate cuz of all the CounterStrike
stuff they run. But yeah, Tim, what ever plan we get next, I should be able to pitch in a few bucks, I also
need to pick up Half-Life 2 as well, but I assume the hosting fee won't be that much.
GwegKeymasterNice one, Danny, you had me worried there for a moment, ha!
GwegKeymasterCrap, what is wrong with me, I did forget Willow. Ok, that is like another movie that I've
seen somewhere around 2,000 times or more, practically wore out the VHS tape, glad I got the DVD.
GwegKeymasterYeah, I'm liking the new look tho.
GwegKeymasterHah, that is a great comparision. I'm gonna have to dig through Uncyclopedia some this weekend
to find some really good articles to post.
GwegKeymasterYeah, that seems like a great article, I only browsed it over, but as soon as I get
some time I'm gonna read it more thoroughly.

GwegKeymasterYeah, I have to agree with that, most of the time if I have a problem, I reboot
first. Usually the problem is gone then, if not, it means something more serious is wrong, but that's for
another topic. But, as Tim said, people need to try rebooting more. That goes especially for people who
always leave their computers on. Me for one, have never really liked that idea, my systems either run too hot
or are to loud to sleep with them on (cuz they are usually in the same room I sleep in). So, I usually
don't have to reboot as often. I'd say in average day, my system is on for about 12-16 hours.
But, even not being on that long, I still have to reboot sometimes.
GwegKeymasterYeah, I can't remember what I had at the Brewery, probably a big chicken sandwich or something. But I agree with Tim, when a geek is having a big meal, don't get in his way.
Someday, I will return to a computer show!!!
GwegKeymasterYeah, the first time I came across this site was at the Steve Ballmer section. I started reading,
and started laughing so hard, that I couldn't breath. I find myself browsing through the site a few times
a week, sometimes during break in my Python class. Not the best place to read it tho, as sometimes I
can't control my laughing.
GwegKeymasterYes, that is the best web comic out there. You know, I'd have to say that's my favorite comic
too. Doctor Hobo is the greatest.
GwegKeymasterYes, no geek would be complete without the /. Glad you posted that.
GwegKeymasterMy name is Greg, I'm 24, from Cambridge, Ohio. I'm currently at school (yeah, you heard that right)
in Portsmouth, Ohio, working on a Game Design degree.
I was pretty much born a gamer; got the NES for
Christmas one year, never put down a controller since. Got in to PC games WAY back with the original DooM and
Mechwarrior 2. Screwed up my dad's PC many times and had to fix it (which got me into tinkering and building
computers). Some of the other things I'm into are — listening to music (don't know where I'd be
without it), drawing, writing, and recently I've developed an interest in cars and modifying them (although not
the same kinda cars everyone else does). Movies are the greatest, too. I've got a massive growing collection of
DVDs, with a few that I still have to watch, and I wish I could get more, but don't have the money right now.
