It would work great.  It would funnel people into the forum so we could get some more discussions and forum users, which we need.

I usually look at all of the major game sites once a day.
web comics, penny arcade, vgcats, lfgcomic – 3 times a week
slashdot – several times a day
Something Awful.com specifically photoshop phriday – when Im bored
Zero Punctuation video reviews  – every Wednesday, I look forward to it every week, the reviews are incredibly funny

I think thats about all I ever go to.

Wow a new post, I keep checking back here every once in a while although a lot less frequently after the two and a half month mark for new posts.

Not much has been happening with me.  The Savannah College of Art and Design graduate department has been kind of pissing me off for a while now.  At the beginning of summer the teacher who runs the graduate review board said he would help a bunch of us online graduate students out by getting out review material up to scratch.  He  made a website to help us and asked us to do some stuff and email it to him the first week and then he never updated the site or even got back to us again.  The new school year starts and I send an email to the head of the interactive design department saying I would like to sign up for the online graduate review, she never replies.  I wait a week and send another email, no reply.  I wait a week and a half and send another email and I get a reply “Oh you want to sign up for the graduate review? Gee I don't know its already half way through the quarter Ill have to see if I can get you in.” I get another email later saying they got me in but everything is due to be turned in in five days.  I scrambled and got everything turned in on time but the stress was horrible. Its been like four weeks and they haven't gotten back to me on whether I passed, and there were only two other people doing the review.

Oh and I went to Vegas about a month and a half ago, that was awesome, stayed at the Bellagio, saw them filming the crossover episode of CSI and Without a Trace at the Planet Hollywood (It aired this Thursday). Also saw the Blueman Group and another show. It was and amazing place.

Thats pretty much all that has happened to me.  Your podcast is awesome, I'm a gameaholic myself.

They really shouldn't its incredibly easy and not very time consuming.  It's the 3D people that should really get the pay, sculpting a character perfectly, laying out UVs(spirit breaking work), making textures, riging characters and painting weights(you just want to kill yourself), and animating.  If you work for a big company you will be doing one or two of those thing, if you work for a small company you may have to do all of those things.  Seth seriously has no idea how easy he has it as a graphic designer.

Ha that was awesome, going through classes in montgomery at scad there are a lot of kids who act just like that.

I can remember an instance where there were these two kids who exclaimed that they were pretty much god-like hackers with the complete knowledge of every computer system known to man.

So they were talking together one day about how you would have to be a complete idiot and computer noob to use Linux.  One was like “Dude, Linux has no security, it's open source so I can and have opened the code and seen all of the security code my self so anyone can get past it.” The other guy “Oh I know I've seen the security code too and whoever wrote it sucked at coding.”

Its awesome when you meet people like that that act like they know everything but are completely clueless.  Oh and it's also great when they use basic computer terminology in a completely wrong way.

I've just been working on some 3D models for my portfolio.  My dad also asked me to make a logo for his work place, apparently the logo his people came up with is really hokey.

Ya I found out that Norton Anti-Virus 2006 doesn't work in Vista, which sucks.  One thing I thought was awesome was last week I decided that I had deleted a bunch of large file from my HD so I should take a look at the defrag tool, I get it up and see that it has been automatically defraging my hard drive every week at 3am on Tuesdays, so that was cool, I didn't even know it was doing that.  Video playback isn't working at all, try to play a video after you've taken out of sleep and it blue screens.  I recently dled the new pirates trailer and transformers trailer in .avi and .mov, didn't work and didn't work.  Sound plays fine but the video plays for two secs then stops for 20 secs then plays a few more secs and then stops and then the movie ends.  Scrub the slider back and fourth and you see every frame play it and it stalls. So I don't know whats wrong there.  My games work fine and my Work apps work fine so thats great.

    There's no place like 127.0.0.1.

The producer of the new Escape movie has confirmed that it will be a prequel and an origin story for Snake, so that'll be pretty cool.

I've always remembered Steve Ballmer for his eloquent speech about Google, “F*****g Eric Schmidt is a f*****g p***y. I'm going to f*****g bury that guy, I have done it before, and I will do it again. I'm going to f*****g kill Google.”  So maybe for a campaign slogan he could replace Eric Schmidt with bin Laden and Google with Al Qaeda.

I could see Steve Ballmer running around on stage at a primary and screaming like Howard Dean.
